Posters advertising the design conference
Brochure for the event
Experience - gallery space for the event
This university project includes posters, a brochure and a gallery experience. It is about a design conference to organise your thoughts with tips and tricks for designers. I used Adobe Illustrator to draw and personify the dogs doing human activities to capture attention. The brochure details people who are (metaphorically) speaking at the conference and information about them. Dogs representing designers and the organisation theme is seen across three touch points.
The gallery experience shows guests where to walk and paw prints lead into the gallery filled with hanging shapes. These are illustrative in style with varying images from dog items to stationary, reflecting how the brain can feel with many thoughts. People participate by taking these flat illustrations off the string then walk through the installation following the paws. They find where their item belongs on the metal wall (like organised tool sheds) and the magnet on the illustration attaches to this wall. These items have gone from disorganised to organised representing the conference theme. An extra pile of illustrations can be for people to keep or reused in the installation.
